Newport’s Premier Boutique Hotel and Bistro has a new website.

Yup, it’s boutique and that's how we like to do things and we are really pleased to see the new site for The Waterloo Hotel and Bistro launched and looking fabulous.

Built in the 1870's, the grade 2 listed Waterloo Hotel, former docks pub (and brothel), makes a welcome change from the usual plain chain hotels and we felt that the history, the special vibe and utterly unique setting and interior just had to be expressed.

So that’s what we did. The photography, tone and aesthetics have totally encapsulated the authenticity of what TWH is all about. But it’s not just that, the quality of food, accommodation and service is just fantastic and it really is a little gem of a place.

“At the core of this project was the boutique nature of everything that surrounds you at The Waterloo, the place just oozes it. We wanted the website to feel tactile and expert yet easy and relaxed just like the experience of staying and dining there”

Rich Gough of Pure Emerald

“Working with the team at Pure Emerald has been a real journey. They kept us informed and supported us through the whole process of defining what we wanted to achieve right through to implementing it. They understood and worked hard to make sure they interpreted our ideas adding their distinctive touch along the way. We are looking forward to working with them as the site matures”

Terri Hawkes, manager of The Waterloo

We have lots more in the pipeline for TWH. A much more comprehensive social media plan, well targeted paid for advertising modules and some real world drives too . We will be deploying these in the New Year so don’t be surprised if you see more of The Waterloo.

The site will also grow technically and will feature more interactive elements with downloadable resources, a booking system and video streaming all available. For now though we are just buzzing about the site and how it feels so take a look for yourself and let us know what you think.

We urge you to visit The Waterloo Hotel for yourself and look, smell, listen and taste for yourself!
