Our office has a bar

We have relocated to Astrum House, Stow Park Circle in Newport and we are taking tele working to another dimension.

We are over the moon about our new premises and not just because of the usual, boring office, client parking and directions point of view but for one other reason. We have a function room equipped with a bar!

Soon after moving in we thought we would try out the local cafe, That Cafe, for an early morning project meeting. It’s literally 200 yards away from the office. Whilst enjoying our early morning, sobering brews we struck up a conversation with Fleur the owner. I enquired as to the wireless capabilities of the cafe and just as the note struck from the resulting N of “no we don’t I’m afraid” were all made aware of a new email via its usual, eager inbox arriving call.

With that I interjected “oh yes you do” before she could finish her originally planned and well founded answer.

Feeling rather cheeky and a little sly after the wireless hijacking episode we decided to look a little further into this. Upon discovering that the laptop was actually attached to our office network, securely i might add, we swiftly changed subject and finished our drinks and returned to the office still a clear hour before business opening hours.
It wasn’t until around lunchtime that we began to discuss the events of the morning and realised something quite amazing and literally mind-blowing to a bunch of website designers enjoying their new premises.

As the crow flies, Fluer’s cafe is, as you already know, approximately 200 yards away from our office. Fact. Another very pleasing fact is that, as the crow flies quite often, there is another establishment that sits right in between our headquarters and Fluer’s business like a ‘no follow’ link from a page ranked 10 homepage. A big old Victorian public house or what we now call the function room!

Why not come and meet with us, we’ll make sure the function room is booked and ready.
