A consortium of businesses based in the home improvements sector to provide a complete solution for building, decorating, plumbing and electrical work all managed under one roof, pardon the pun.

brief.

Create an identity based on their core values which is presentable and elevates them to a cut above the norm.

outcome.

From a limited brief the first step was to start forming the identity with the company name. This whole process took a while but explored the depths of many realms and possibilities but it focussed on natural and organic. Oak was used as it strong and established to convey their values and accompanied with the word men gave it an exclusive feel, the idea to grow and become an ‘oaksmen’.

Using two modern typefaces injected with an organic theme shows growth and establishes the ideas behind the identity. Accompanied with the strap line reinforces the somewhat masculine moniker.
